The Care Magnet is a new kind of aquarium magnet, the magnet has been completely renewed, it has, among other things, plastic knives, these are mounted in such a way that they can cope with the most annoying algae, the plastic cannot rust, so the magnet can also stay in the aquarium.
The plastic is not able to damage the glass, you can use the units yourself in aquariums made of acrylic, the magnet itself is kept 3mm from the glass. The advantage of this is that any sand grains do not get stuck between the magnet and the window.
The lifespan of the plastic knives is also much longer than the metal versions, the lifespan of the knives varies from a few months to a year, depending on the use.
The magnets come in three versions, a nano for aquariums from 6 to 10mm glass thickness, the long version goes from 10 to 15mm, and then the strong version which goes from 15mm to 20mm.
