NYOS Goldpods is a liquid zoological plankton concentrate from the pure waters of the Arctic seas. NYOS Goldpods contains the calanoid copepods Calanus finmachicus (2mm in size). This provides the ideal nutrition for a variety of sensitive saltwater fish and LPS corals. *
High quality raw materials form the basis: The secret of NYOS Goldpods is the top quality raw material. The freshly caught copepods are processed by a special method (developed in a Norwegian university). This patented method deactivates autolytic enzymes that would further destroy valuable substances such as fatty acids and proteins. Furthermore, the copepods have an ultra-thin membrane coating of natural marine components to prevent important nutrients from being lost. *
NYOS Goldpods is very handy and time-saving in application: It can be added directly into the aquarium using a pipette or the supplied measuring cup. There is no need to defrost.
Application of Nyos Goldpods
Due to the specified characteristics, NYOS Goldpods are best suited for:
Various sensitive carnivorous and omnivorous saltwater fish (e.g. anthias)
LPS corals and Azoox corals. In general, these corals show increased polyp expansion immediately after feeding.
Nyos Goldpods Nutritional advice
NYOS Goldpods can be added directly, for example by means of a pipette or measuring cup. Alternatively, you can first dilute Goldpods with aquarium water in a separate container and then add it.
Feed your fish sparingly several times a day.
Feed your LPS corals with a pipette 1-2 times a week, targeted and in small quantities after turning off the flow pumps.
