Description
Hanna Checker pocket photometer Iron
Hanna HI-721 long range handheld colorimeter iron – Checker®HC
About 6.3% of the Earth’s crust is made of iron with 43% of this amount in the ground. As a result, iron is naturally present in most water supplies.
Left in the water, iron will not only stain the surface of pipes and pools, or poison aquatic life, it will also affect water taste and cause problems with animal feed lines.
Testing, therefore, should be an important part of any water monitoring process – especially if you’re checking your pool, checking the quality of the water in your aquarium, or monitoring water runoff.
