Salifert Profi-test Magnesium

Magnesium is present in natural seawater in a fairly high concentration (1350 – 1500 mg / L) and is an essential element of chlorophyll that is required for photosynthesis. Without photosynthesis, plants, algae and corals could not survive.

Maintaining the correct magnesium content (please between 1300 and 1400, depending on the calcium and KH value) is therefore very important and is indirectly responsible for faster coral and lime algae growth.

The Salifert Profi-Test Magnesium Test Kit is easy to use and measures the magnesium value accurately and in steps of 30 mg / L.

The measurement is not affected by strontium and calcium, provided they are not between 200 and 650 ppm. This is usually the case in marine aquariums.

The Salifert Profi-Test Magnesium Test Kit is sufficient for 50 tests and is only suitable for salt water.
