Moonlight is considered just as important as daylight. Moonlight activates internal and external biological activities in thousands of reef organisms. Many corals continue to grow under moonlight and for some fish and corals it is important for the reproduction process. Night hunters will also become active while prey will hide.
Another advantage of moonlight is that you can enjoy your aquarium for longer and in a completely different way. We all enjoy looking into the aquarium with a flashlight to see what is going on, but many animals react to this and will hide. With moonlight there is enough light to see what is happening in the aquarium after your normal lighting has been switched off.
This module is supplied without LED lighting. So you need to purchase an LSM Module and an LSM3 or LSM5 LED cable.
